Exercise as Therapy for the Mind and Body

 

While my profession involves talk therapy, I also value the benefits of additional ways that we work toward taking care of ourselves. 

Getting some form of exercise every day has proven benefits for physical, mental and emotional well being.  For fun, I am listing some forms of exercise to choose from:

 

Walking

Running

Cycling

Yoga

Weight Training

Using any of the machines at a gym

Swimming

Boxing

Dancing (any form)

Pilates

Skipping rope

Stretching

Climbing hills (there’s a few in Saskatoon!)

Cross-country skiing

 

There are more!  Enjoy moving your body and feeling your muscles get a workout.

Think about what you would like to do and go for it.  I will too!!
