Join me for the first of four evenings this Fall, 2017 for discussion about various mental health issues.
The first evening, Monday, September 18, 2017 will be a presentation and discussion about the topic of anxiety.
What is really going on with our body and mind when we experience anxious feelings?
All mammals experience a threat response -- given this, we all need to learn ways to take care of our anxious feelings.
Often, people say they feel isolated in their experience of anxiety, however, we all experience anxiety. Under certain conditions, we experience more intense anxiety than at other times. Why is this?
I am passionate about my work in helping people understand why we experience anxious feelings and how we can take care of these physiological responses when they manifest in our body.
